[pde-dev] how to implement multiple panes in same view

Hi,

I'm trying to create a view with multiple panes within it. 
Like the way we have multiple tabs in IE or firefox in single opened window as per users wish, similar functionality I'm trying to implement in eclipse.
I'm done with basic implementation of view with single viewpart but clueless about how to go ahead with multiple pane option within view.

In need of pointers.
