[pde-dev] Error in dependent plugin not catched when installing dependin

Hi All,

I wonted to test dependency check of  plug-in A that is dependent on plug in B.

 

Steps followed:

1. Installed Plug-in B.
2. Remove the plug-in B folder (not un installed, just deleted the plug-in A older)
3. Installed plug-in B (It allowed me to install plug-in B !!)

 

Though at step 3 there is a red error message under Plug-in B, still it allowed me to install Plug in A (which depends on plug-in B). Is this the normal behavior of eclipse platform?
