Hi all,
The issue is solved. Apparently, my
antivirus was holding up all the jars, since I have kept the scanning option in
antivirus to “scan all outgoing files”. Hence, all the files that were created
were being held up by antivirus for scanning. Hence ant was not able to rename
or delete some files.
Thanks,
Abhijit.

headless build
Hi,
I tried exporting a sample feature based
project by creating a small helloworld project. Again my feature –
com.example.helloworld.feature – includes 2 plugins - com.example.helloworld
& com.example.byeworld. However I get following error while exporting the
project using the export wizard in feature
manifest file (in eclipse 3.3).
Problems during export
D:\abhijit\HELLOWORLD\com.example.helloworld.feature\assemble.com.example.helloworld.feature.win32.win32.x86.xml:69:
Unable to rename old file
(D:\temp\hello_example.zip) to temporary file

I’m attaching the projects. Has anybody
faced this sort of problem? Please guide.
Thanks,
Abhijit.

Subject: [pde-build-dev] headless
build
Importance: High
Hi all,
We have developed a feature based product. The feature
consists of 5 plugins. When I try to build the product (headless build) using
build.properties and other templates, I get this error:
build\assemble.org.eclipse.pde.build.container.feature.win32.win32.x86.xml:25:
Unable to delete file
build\tmp\testbuild\plugins\com.infy.finacle.fss.utils_1.0.0\jars\org.eclipse.emf.ecore_2.2.1.v200609210005.jar

Probably ant is holding up the jars, because the error is
thrown for different jars, all in the “tmp” folder, every time I run the
headless build. Can I some how pass the attribute “fork=true” for ant tasks
“javac”, assemble and package during the headless build.
Please help.
Regards,
Abhijit.
