[pde-build-dev] site.xml and ".qualifier"

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but currently, how does the Eclipse team "create" site.xml for their update sites?  I assume there is some sort of substitution going on at build/deployment time to grab the generated version qualifiers for the features (with the checksum appended)?  I was in the midst of writing a build task to do this in my particular build process, and noticed that the PDE tries to validate the content of site.xml in my update site project.  If I put in replacement strings I get errors - which is OK, but prompted me to just check with the experts; is there any infrastructure in PDE build for doing this substitution in site.xml, or am I right in just assuming this is something I need to take care of myself?

Thanks,
Mark.
