Re: [paho-dev] D language library (wrapper)

New features in the C library? Which ones were those, I don't remember adding anything new for a while :-)

On becoming a committer, take a look at this information: https://eclipse.org/membership/become_a_member/committer.php and the Due Diligence Guidelines: https://eclipse.org/legal/committerguidelines.php.

Note that Eclipse requires you to have permission from your employer (if you have one), even if you are doing this on your own time.

Assuming you're still good, then I have to initiate a vote amongst the existing committers.

Great. The new features that you added to the C library made it pretty easy. An initial version should be ready by the end of next week.

What do I need to do to become a committer?

Hi Frank,

absolutely, we're always interested in new language implementations. It could go in the new incubator sub-project while you're developing it. If you become a committer, you could use the Paho repository to develop the code.

Hey All,

I've been intrigued by the D Language for a while now, but haven't had the opportunity to use it for anything yet. As a learning exercise I wrapped the Paho C (Win/Linux) library for use with D.

Would there be any interest in this? Adding it to Paho?

It wraps the current C library in GIT, and is working with the latest DMD compiler and/or GDC-4.9 on Linux. Next I will see about getting it working on Windows.

Thanks,
Frank
