Re: [paho-dev] Android - Differences between old and new version of Java Paho client
|
I've made the changes to the pom files and it appears to resolve the
problem. The fixes are currently only in the develop branch, to use
change the following in your build.gradle.
Under repositories;
maven { url
'https://repo.eclipse.org/content/repositories/paho-snapshots/' }
under dependencies;
classpath
'org.eclipse.paho:org.eclipse.paho.client.mqttv3:1.0.1-SNAPSHOT'

I'll have a look at the options, but currently there is just one place I
have to change the version number and all the other pom files pick it
up, I'd not like to have to hard code every place it's used.

Looks like Gradle doesn't cope with this:
http://forums.gradle.org/gradle/topics/_illegal_character_in_path_at_index_73_when_downloading_dependency_from_maven
Any way we can patch the pom before release (and fix the build not
to require token expansion in the pom in future?) - that would make
us more Android-friendly.

Substituting the appropriate value for {paho.version} does
seem to work
in terms of getting to the pom, so maybe I have my Gradle
syntax incorrect?
