Here is an update site contains a simple feature whose p2.inf contains a syntax error. Once it's installed, it can't be uninstalled. I deleted the p2,inf from the installed feature, restart eclipse with -clean option but still failed to uninstall the feature.

You would have to edit the metadata in your profile, the p2.inf file doesn't do anything after the build.
