[p2-dev] Non-selectable categories?

Hi,

I'm working on proposals for revamping EclipseLink's update sites, and have been playing with using composite repositories to allow the creation of a single site for the download of any published version. A single composite site would ease maintenance, and make it easier for users to find software. However, since it appears that an entire category can be selected (in either the "install software" or "add content" dialogs in Eclipse), so a user can inadvertently select *all* versions for install. I've attached an image that illustrates the issue - notice the check-box next to the category.

Is there any way to generate a "non-selectable" category? or to render a category "non-selectable", and force explicit selection of the items in the category instead?

Thanks
