[p2-dev] Headless Composite Repository functionality?

Hi,

I wasn't originally going to post here with this rather specific configuration question. However, it is possible others may benefit, so here goes...

EclipseLink doesn't use Buckminster or Athena for building. I've looked into it a little, but basically our team would prefer to maintain as generic a build as possible to ease migration type issues from the user perspective. That means an ant based build system invoked from the command-line (in addition to Eclipse projects primarily used during development).

I've been in the process of migrating from using the older "metadata generator" to the newer "publisher" tool to generate p2 repositories for our builds, but also want to make use of composite repositories. What I'm wondering is if there is any similar "headless" command-line facility for generation and updating of composite repositories. I've reviewed http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox/p2/Composite_Repositories_%28new%29#p2.composite.repository, but it only talks about this functionality within ant tasks, and I've been unable to track down further info on composite repositories.

Thanks.
