[p2-dev] Director querying remote repositories

Hi all,

We currently have a problem when installing/modifying Eclipse applications via 
the 3.4 Director. Upon start-up it always queries the repositories from all 
features installed in the Eclipse from which the director is started (not the 
target installation). That seems to be quite useless if you are installing a 
fresh application or modifying the configuration of an existing external 
application. And this really becomes a problem if the remote repositories are 
slow or even unreachable (e.g. Subclipse) and this is done several times 
during the build process. Currently this adds about 20 minutes (!!) to our 
build. Isn't there a way to stop this annoying behaviour?
