Re: [p2-dev] metadata interfaces

I based it on Head from Sunday (and M4 as my target). I wanted to make sure my changes didn't break any test cases, and it so far it looks good.

Pascal, thanks for the tip with the metadata factory.  I will try this out, although, the metadata factory is tightly coupled to the p2 implementation, so this may require a bit of work.

I will also run through the UI. Is there a suggested way to work? (From what I understand, I'm not able to simply launch a run-time workbench and use p2).

cheers,
Ian

To catch more problems, try changing the MetadataFactory to return instances of your own objects and then run the tests.
Of course this is only to test!

[p2-dev] metadata interfaces

I have created a patch for the metadata interfaces and attached it to [1].

The tests pass, although problems are not likely to arise until we have some other service implementations (and I will provide other patches if there turns out to be some problems).

Let me know when a good time to apply the patch is, as I will try and keep the patch up-to-date and upload a new version if needed.

Thanks everyone,
Ian
