FYI, we have received approval to reuse the Hystrix fault tolerance library in Orion. This is a very neat library developed by Netflix, which provides utilities for buffering interaction with 3rd party API. This will help enable the Orion server to be resilient to failure in 3rd party systems that it connects to (e.g., Git, Cloud Foundry). It also provides other useful library features, like collapsing/aggregating large volumes of requests to a 3rd party library. Orion contributors are now welcome to start consuming Hystrix in the Orion Java server.
