[orion-dev] how we use "favorites"

We've had some discussions about inconsistencies in the behavior of favorites and its role on the navigator page.
Now that favorites are available in the "find file" dialog, how many of you are still using the favorites pane in the navigator?
Specifically, we've talked about getting rid of "add link" completely and just leaving bookmark management to the browser.
Also, we've discussed having favorite "files" take you to the file in the nav, but you would still need a gesture (enter, click) to open the editor on it.
The idea is that the left hand side of nav would never take you off of the nav.

This also involves moving saved searches to the search page. So that the left hand side of search page would be focused solely on searching.
