The selection model work is still in progress but there are something worth mentioning if you are trying it now:
- A selection model is hooked up to most of the explorer based pages. Navigator, git log, search & replace and the mini logs in git status page.
- All the pages above behave the same way when selecting rows: Space key or mouse click + CTRL to toggle, SHIFT + mouse click or SHIFT + up&down key to select range.
- If there are grids(outlined as dot line, for now) in a row, use left&right keys to navigate and enter key to activate.
E.g. We used to use left&right keys to collapse/expand a folder in navigator. Now you have to use enter key when the twistie is highlighted.
- The check box in the navigator will be removed soon. Know issue: If you previously selected something and reload the page, the selection model is not synced with the cache but this will be fixed once the check box is removed.
Please comment on the UX bug[1] or open a new bug if you have any opinions.
