I have received the new icons from the graphic designer and have released them.
The goal of this effort was to get away from "multi-color, desktop, windows" style icons and move toward a flatter/simpler look using the Orion colors.
For this release we went with a color based on Orion gold that we felt would look good on white, gray, and toolbar black.

Simon and I discussed the review process and given that a source code review of icon addition/removal and name changes in the command files is not likely to find problems faster than just running all pages, we decided to push the changes.
So....
Please check all of your pages, hovering actions, model icons, menu icons, etc.
Open bugs for:
- icon missing. It's possible I have the icon and simply did not put it in the right place or rename it correctly. Make sure this gets marked RC2 if we've lost an icon and assign it to me
- icon is old style. It's possible I missed one, or possible that you didn't ask me for a new one. Open a bug (but it might not make 0.2)
- icon is the wrong metaphor. Most of these are based on the originals, but some changes were done. Open a bug and make it clear if you think we've lost usability since RC1.
- icon could be improved. Open a bug but make it clear that this is not important for 0.2
