Is there a newer version you would like to have in Orbit, or are there
some issues with the current one being shipped (v2.4.0) ?

Historically, it seems the requirement for Orbit committers has been to
hold committer status on some other project and going by the account
page, it didn't indicate other projects on which you're a committer.

If this is something needed by Trace Compass, perhaps there's someone
who could commit to such work ?
