[orbit-dev] Proposing Oxygen.1a Contribution

As mentioned on cross-project-issues-dev [1], there will be an
Oxygen.1a release in October, with RC1 being for the end of this week.

This release is meant mainly to provide support for Java 9 and JUnit 5.
Our JUnit 5 GA contribution that made Photon M2 will likely be
backported for this, but other changes meant for Java 9 could also be
done.

>From a previous thread, I see ASM 6.0_BETA came up as needing
contribution. It was proposed to have this in Oxygen.1 but came too
late. I don't see it on master yet, so is there still interest in
having this make Oxygen.1a ? Could it even be contributed + tested by
consuming projects in time ?
