These CQs (CQ 13012 ff.) have unfortunately been created after the deadline, as Bug 513809 [2] reared its ugly head only with Oxygen M6 (which was after the deadline). While it looks like that Thomas Watson found a solution to the root problem [3], we at Code Recommenders would still like to make the (tiny) jump from the discontinued Eclipse Aether 1.0.1 to Maven Resolver 1.0.3 so that we can tweak the manifests if Thomas' solution doesn't work. We haven't gotten an exception about this. I wrote EMO an informal email about this to give them a heads up, but haven't heard back from them. So, does anyone know what the formal process is for this? I haven't found anything in the wiki.
