Yes, the old cvs repository is now read-only and all new contributions
are now coming in through the orbit-recipes git repository.

That sounds fine. I would still need to file the ATO CQ for it and I
could probably review your contribution from there provided it stays
under 1000LOC. If it goes over, or if you plan to make more additions
we could nominate you as committer on the Orbit project.
