[orbit-dev] Apache Batik PDF update to 1.7

Hello Orbit Team,

Orbit has the apache Batik library.

There was an update from 1.6 to 1.7, but the PDF component was not updated to 1.7.

There is this ticket:

But there is no activity since 2009!!

This is a problem, because BIRT depends on this PDF component. Other components in Eclipse depend meanwhile on Batik 1.7, so there is a conflict.

I cannot update my target platform since years. Meanwhile Eclipse Neon is refusing to start JUnit, because it needs a newer version and the one in my target platform is too old.

Can you please help?
