Thank you very much for nominating me.

I am convinced, that these libraries will serve the good for any Eclipse developer if they want to provide any integration with Gradle. Choosing Orbit was a team decision. We don't want to rush anything though, anything we change will be planned well before.
Hosting these libraries' source on Eclipse.org would not make sense. They are to support IDE integration, but completely IDE-agnostic too.

I guess it doesn¹t hurt. But I am wondering who asked you to put these
into Orbit. As Tom mentioned, if it doesn¹t make sense for other projects
to use these jars, it might be more of a hassle putting them in Orbit than
just keeping them in your p2 repo.

BTW, I disagree that you should move the source for the dependencies to
Eclipse. I¹m not sure you want that affecting your other business.
