Re: [orbit-dev] CVS repo access

Thanks, Markus! This was the first thing I did but unfortunately it did not help.

Regards,

Lazar

I don't know of any changes specifically to CVS, and connections to Orbit repos still work for me.

Maybe the problem is connected to the recent changes in host keys?

You could try deleting the entry for dev.eclipse.org on Preferences > SSH2 > Known Hosts if your fingerprint doesn't match the one from the mail above.

Hi,

Has anything related to CVS access changed recently? I haven’t accessed the CVS repo for some time and when I tried today I got the following error:

Could not connect to :extssh:lkirchev@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/tools: CVS communication error: org.eclipse.team.internal.ccvs.ssh2.CVSSSH2ServerConnection$SSH2IOException: Algorithm negotiation fail
Algorithm negotiation fail

No changes on my side, so my guess was that something changed serverside?
