Re: [orbit-dev] Declaring Build: I20120519125550 -- ready for Juno Release?

I get the impression (from bug reports and other comments) that this may well be our last build for Juno.

Please check it carefully and/or let me know if I'm mistaken and people still have Orbit work to do for Juno.

We'll set a deadline of Tuesday 5 PM to decide. At that point, if there is any doubt this is "final" , we can "promote" this (or latest) I build to an S build for RC2 builds.

But, if we are confident in what we have, we can promote it to an R build and be done for Juno.

It is good for Orbit to be "done early" since in a perfect world, many projects would also "be done" by RC2 or RC3 (if not RC1) so it is best we have a "final" version for them to use.

This is similar to how JDT compiler (and other) foundation components try to "finish early" so the last few builds do not get any churn related to those foundation pieces.

So, test, check, and let us know if more is needed.

If I forget to say it later, much thanks to all Orbit committers who "made a difference" for Juno Release. Consider yourself part of history!
