Re: [orbit-dev] Orbit S-build for Indigo RC3 - redux - promoted: S20110523182458

Thanks to quick testing ... well, a build failure :/ ...

a problem was found with the initial for-RC3-S-build,  with one bundle, com.google.inject, [1] so, please use this S-build for RC3 instead:

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/orbit/downloads/drops/S20110523182458/

Using the CVS map files, I've confirmed that only the com.google.inject bundle has changed between this build, and the previous S build, so anyone that does not use it specifically should see no difference. I will note, in case it matters, that some teams effected by this directly, have "moved up" to the new build, new com.google.inject bundle version, even for RC2. As far as I know, this won't cause problems, but might if any RC2 participants were using "import package" expecting the old exported package versions. (See bug 346854 [1] for details and history).

I have promoted this S-build for use by those building for Indigo RC3

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/orbit/downloads/drops/S20110521195923/

There's actually been a lot of (minor) changes to about forty bundles (see bug 346305 [1]) since our last S-build.

I hope this is our last Orbit build for Indigo. We technically could provide one more on 5/28, but I think we should only if there is a regression or blocking problem ... just to remove variation and help other teams ramp down. If anyone needs another Orbit build for Indigo, please post a note here, and explain why. (And the earlier, the better.) In case its not obvious, this means not to "release" any changes to the Orbit map files. But, if someone just wants to make updates to CVS, that would not effect our deliverable.

Thanks everyone!
