[orbit-dev] Galileo SR2 maintenance stream is open and ready for business

I've started a maintenance branch and build for Galileo SR2.

Full details (just to document it) are in bug 299187.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=299187

The map files, from our last R-build, were branched to

Galileo_maintenance

To get changes required for Galileo SR2 update the map files there.

Typically, it is not necessary to (further) branch any of the actual bundle modules.
Hopefully any maintenance that is required, is already done in the Helios stream, and
its just a matter of using that same tag in the Galileo_maintenance maps.

If effect, we are simply choosing a minimum subset of changes in Helios, to
also apply to Galileo. If anyone has anything more complicated than that,
or, for example, an actual new bundle, be sure to let us know here on this list.
(New things, in particular, will take some more releng work, to map our set1 feature file,
which as of now, I'm assume can stay exactly the same as it was in the last R-build.

For book keeping and easy queries please open a new bug for any
Galileo fixes, and set its target milestone field to "Galileo SR2". In many cases,
these can just reference the original bug where some fix or addition was
already made to Helios.

Schedule:

1/11 5 PM.  First M-build promoted to "downloads" for use by those producing Galileo SR2 RC1.
(We should get those SAT4J bundles in there, for use by Platform. These are the only fixes
I have actually heard we require, so far.)

1/25 5 PM. Final M-build promoted to "downloads" and renamed to "R-build" for use in all remaining
SR2 builds.

As always, let us know if anyone has suggestions, or questions.
