Re: [orbit-dev] Adding Bundle (iText) to Orbit

The Examples project uses what BIRT has (we don't copy it into our own repository). I am happy to help, but we really need BIRT involvement. I'll ping the BIRT project leadership directly.

I would like to add the iText PDF library version 1.5.4 to Orbit and
since this would be my first contribution to Orbit I am looking for

"piggy-back" (PB) CQ for the Orbit project based on CQ# 2114 is
    the next
step. Is it ok that the CQ I would be piggy-backing off for Orbit is
not my own project (I would then later create a "using Orbit CQ"
    for the
    OSEE project).

The current version of iText is 2.1.7... any reason we are adding such an older version?

It looks like BIRT, Aperi and the Examples project use iText too. It would be good to coordinate with them.

(btw, yes you need to create a CQ for your project first and then one in Orbit)

Cheers,
