Re: [orbit-dev] Look at this! re-usable map files

Looks neat!  Only one thing did I notice that seems amiss:  the support for multiple versions (with the version-qualified bundle name) looks good, but I see that there is also an unversioned entry for every version of the same bundle.  e.g.,

bundle@javax.servlet=GET,http://download.eclipse.org/.../javax.servlet_2.3.0.v200612120445.jar
bundle@javax.servlet=GET,http://download.eclipse.org/.../javax.servlet_2.4.0.v200612120446.jar

Should the unversioned entry be specified only for the latest version?

Cheers,

Christian

[orbit-dev] Look at this!  re-usable map files

As discussed in bug 173917

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=173917

I have put Pascal's map generator in the builds, and "retrofitted" one for our stable build.

Once we get some confirmation this all works with the M5 base builder, then
I think someone volunteered to write a "how to" note for our wiki? and send link to
cross-project list?
