Hi Gary,
Can we talk on the phone regarding specific project
participation opportunities? I will be back in the office tomorrow--if you can
suggest two or three times that work for you within the next few days, I will
confirm and call. Please respond to djorgenson@xxxxxxxxxxx
.
Thanks,

If possible, I would like to volunteer to work on
the IHE component of OHF. At this point, I can commit about 10-20 hours a
week to work on OHF.
I have about 8 years professional experience as a
software engineer, mostly working at datacom startups in the greater Boston
area. I am presently a full time student, finishing a Master's in Computer
Science at Northeastern University in Boston.
I am fairly proficient in Java. My exposure
to healthcare IT is quite limited - however, I find it very
interesting. I have been doing an independent study in Health Informatics
with Dr. Stanley Hochberg. Dr. Hochberg is the director of our new
Master's program in Health Informatics. I have been spending time studying
the IHE documents. I am a tiny bit familiar with the Eclipse
development process - I attended EclipseWorld here in Cambridge, MA last
September, and made a point to attend the workshops that focused on contributing
to Eclipse.
I am eager to wade in and do some work on
OHF.
thank you,
Gary Matulis
