[oaw-wg] redview (riena + oaw) - events

I'll demonstrate the next weeks how redView (Riena EMF Dynamic Views) will enhance Riena RCP applications,
esp. if you're using a model-driven workflow with oAW.

redView (http://redview.org) will finally become open source (EPL) in nov/dec 2009.
promised !!!

first time I presented redView together with flo at EclipseCon 2009 and
I know it took much more time as expected to reach the point where we'll make it open source.

please notice: redView was developed by flo and me: flo does it in his spare time beside his regular job
and I'm self-employed - so there's (till now) no company behind redView.
but there are real projects using redView.

redView provides a WYSIWYG SWT editor and can be used for prototyping, RCP applications with riena UI + LnF
or as a nice UI for WebServices. redView Views can be generated using openArchitectureWare (MWE / Xpand / Xtend)

the next weeks we'll fill some gaps and create documentation and I'll also demonstrate redView:

jörg reichert an I are working on MWE components to read models and
metamodels directly from a CDO repository and on a CDOTypeSystem to use
the lazy loading capabilities of CDO also from inside of checks and
transformations.

If we could contribute this to a tutorial or something else, plc let me
know.

Hi guys,

in the telco today I would like to discuss the provision of a Maven repository created with Buckminster Aggregator (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Getting_Started_With_Aggregator_%28Buckminster%29) . There is a long discussion ongoing about Maven support for Eclipse based projects in this bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=283745 Today the announcement came that Buckminster Aggregator supports mapping a p2 repository to Maven, and on ESE 09 I saw a small demo. I am evaluating the Aggregator currently, until now with no success, but I just started.
