Re: [nebula-dev] Map Viewer - Getting ready

I propose geomap for the component and GeoMap and GeoMapViewer for the control and viewer classes. We'll follow the repo and plugin project layout of the cdatetime component. If you prefer Stepan, I can prepare the initial repo state, based on each of our code contributions. Otherwise, we'll prepare our respective parts.

Hi,

I don't favor any particular naming suggestions concerning packaging or classnames. On iOS the Map-Component is called MapKit (not WorldMap* or the like) so that one is taken.

Regards,
Stepan

IMO, the best would be to find a common name for 1) and 2) and append Viewer to make 3), e.g. map, Map and MapViewer. However, using just map for 1) and 2) may suggest the control is for Map data, which it is not. We could add "earth" or "world" in front, to make it clearer, in other words earthmap, EarthMap and EarthMapViewer?
