I don't expect any issues running the connector on Eclipse 4.x, my guess is that you're trying to connect to Gerrit 2.6 or later. In that case you'll need to update to more recent version of Gerrit Reviews, e.g. from http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/weekly/ or http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/nightly
