In my oppinion, it would be nice to also add this feature to R4E, and I hope that it will be done at some time.

Hi,
At the moment the functionality you are describing is not available as is in R4E. However some of what you are looking for ould partly be achieved e.g.
- You can assign specific Review Items (i.e. commits) to specific people to review
- You can define a list of people that could be added as participants together to reviews in the R4E preference, which are shareable among multiple users.
- You can include specific SCM commits as review items. We currently support Git and SVN (Subclipse) as SCM providers.
Typically the way the review process work with R4E is as follow:
1) A person (we would call him/her the review lead) creates the review as a child to a preconfigured Review Group
2) This person adds the review contents (one or more commits or manually selected items)
3) This person also add the people that will be part of the review (reviewers, authors etc.) and notifies them, using automatic R4E notifications
4) The reviewers review the code and write anomalies on the review contents
5) Authors/Developers correct the code if applicable according to the anomalies
6) The lead that added the corrected code in the review as new review items
7) Repeat steps 4-5 (and 2) until all issues are addressed/resolved
8) The lead closes the review and generates a review report that can be archived.

Dear all,
I have one general question regarding the functionality of R4E. Will it be possible to automatically generate Review Items from SCM commits?
What we would like to use is actually the ReviewClipse functionality:
1. Configure globally, which team members review which other team members
2. A team member can open an eclipse view with all commits from other team members she has to review according to the global configuration
3. Reviews are thus done for specific SCM revisions and result in Mylyn Tasks.
Will the classical ReviewClipse functionality supported by R4E?
