This item was discussed during the Mylyn weekly meeting and it was agreed that it would be best to use a common Gerrit infrastructure. So it would be best to start moving some of the Mylyn projects to the Eclipse Gerrit server and based on the results schedule the move for the rest of the projects.

   

With R4E, I will go ahead and request its provisioning at Eclipse.org with permissions set so committers are able to bypass the Gerrit Code review. This will allow us to experience the behaviour using Gerrit review approvals to commit changes as well as directly by the committer, the configuration can be adjusted later so all commits can go via Gerrit.
