Hi,

since this came up on yesterday's call here is a quick update about the CQ [2] for bug 326729 for supporting line-based commenting [1]: Atlassian has signed the necessary paper work and contributors have commented on the bug so the code is now awaiting triage. If all continues to go well it should be reviewed and approved within the next couple of weeks.
