Re: [mylyn-pmc] Mylyn 3.11 release review

I created the review document on assumption that the PMC will approve the documentation.

I'm not able to reproduce the error you're seeing (even when impersonating you).

I've flushed all the caches. Can you reload the page and try again?

By the way, I still get the same error when trying to add themes, even though a Release Type is selected. I looked through all the sections and couldn't find anything highlighted in red, but after clicking Preview, the "Subprojects included with this release" field gets highlighted in red and no longer has any subprojects listed there (the only thing I can select is None).

It's no problem, I didn't lose any work. I'm a bit concerned though because it now says "A review cannot be scheduled for this release; a minimum of one week of community review is required. Consider changing the date." There's still a week until the release date; can we start the review today?

This is my fault. I added a new mandatory field to the form for "Release Type". It has a default value when you create a new record, but doesn't fill in a value for existing records. If you had opened the "Basic" section and scrolled down, you'd have seen the field highlighted in red.

I'll see if I can make the error message more helpful.

In the meantime, I've fixed it for you. I hope that you didn't lose very much work (if so, I'll figure out a way to make it up to you).

I've added an elevator pitch. I tried several times to convert the priorities to themes but I always got the following error, in both Firefox and IE: "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."

Didn't notice that this was to the PMC mailing list only. I think we are good to schedule the release once that's done.

Please include an "elevator pitch" paragraph in the description. i.e. a short 1-5 sentence paragraph that describes what's contained in the release.

The priorities that you have listed would be better represented as themes in the plan.

Hi,

thanks for moving the 3.11 release forward. It looks like the "Review" section is still empty. Here is an example from a previous release about the kind of meta-data that we typically include: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/mylyn/releases/3.10/review .

The list of repository version should be updated: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/mylyn/releases/3.11/plan . Bugzilla 5.0 isn't supported in 3.11 and Gerrit 2.8 is missing. The Hudson and Jenkins versions should be reviewed as well.
