Re: [mylyn-docs-dev] Markdown support

Torkild,

Your offer to help sounds great.

I've initiated a CQ for the "works with" dependency on the CommonMark spec.   Once that's been processed I'll put up a review.  In the meantime you can see what I've started here: https://github.com/dgreen99/org.eclipse.mylyn.wikitext.commonmark

Hi David,

We at MARINTEK are in the process of migrating from various other markup dialects to Markdown and are already consuming the current support in Mylyn Docs. As many have noted; the "Daring Fireball" version is of sub-optimal quality, so we have been thinking about implementing the CommonMark spec for Mylyn Docs ourselves.

Unless there are any objections and if you feel comfortable with simply putting it through a Gerrit review I think we should do that. I'd be happy to help out.

Best regards,
Torkild
