Considering Markdown is my favorite markup dialect this is pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to start using it. Thanks for your work Stefan and David!
I'm OK with adding the Markdown bundle to the Extras feature since it is fairly new. However I would like it to be moved to o.e.m.wikitext-feature as soon as it has matured.
As a side note I'm planning to add the MathJax support to o.e.m.wikitext.extras-feature when it's ready. I'm regarding this feature to be a good place for introducing new stuff, but it may end up being a bit of a mishmash.
