[mylyn-dev] diagnosing UI test instability

Devs,

I’m out of ideas on this and hoping that one of you may have some advice on where to go next:

The test sporadically causes the build to hang, usually when the build machine is under load (i.e. multiple builds are running).

The hang is caused by a a message dialog which appears in the workbench with the following message:

An SWT error has occurred.

You are recommended to exit the workbench.

Subsequent errors may happen and may terminate the workbench without warning.

See the .log file for more details.

Unfortunately the .log file doesn't appear to have any additional information in there.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot further?
