[mylyn-dev] Java 8 and Eclipse 3.x support
Hi,

I would like to update all Mylyn bundles to require Java 8 so that we can take advantage of the many new language features. Note that some parts of Eclipse already require Java 8. A side-effect of this change is that it would no longer be possible to use Mylyn with Eclipse 3.8 and older.

I would like to move the following projects to Java 8 for the Neon release in June (Mylyn 3.20):

* Mylyn
* Mylyn Builds
* Mylyn Commons
* Mylyn Context
* Mylyn Docs
* Mylyn Incubator
* Mylyn Reviews
* Mylyn Tasks
* Mylyn Versions

Please comment on the bug [1] if you have any concerns.
