Remote wiki editing is beyond the scope of Mylyn WikiText - in other words, not on the roadmap. This is something that has come up before, though I'm having troubles tracking down the conversation.

Regarding the possibility of a remote editing of wiki pages
directly from Mylyn (Eclipse IDE), is it on the road-map?
not yet considered, or already discarded?

I'm using Mylyn (task/context/vcs) for some time and in
the context of a EU
research project I'm studying the possibility to use the
WikiText component.
As first check I would like to use it for updating
MediaWiki pages.
Is it possible to remotely edit a wiki page?
