Generally, you would push to upstream to share your changes. In this case you would get an error due to a lack of permissions for the org.eclipse.mylyn repository. I'll update the target files to incorporate the changes you proposed soon but for now I would recommend closing the org.eclipse.mylyn.http and org.eclipse.mylyn.versions bundle.

How do share the changes with CVS I create a patch?
