[mylar-dev] RE: Mylar project rename to Mylyn

I was informed that the following statement on the bug report may have been
to buried:

"We will be announcing the name change once we are far enough along, so we
ask that you refrain from blogging this until we have made the announcement,
at which point the FAQ will have any necessary questions addressed and the
project's descriptive name will have been chosen."

Please do adhere to that since we decided to make this public before
announcing it in order to make sure that the FAQ answers any questions that
those on mylar-dev and watching bug reports come up with. Willian has
already pointed out that we should include the preferred pronunciation.

CONTRIBUTORS: if anyone has outstanding patches that we have not yet
applied, please comment on the corresponding bug report. There will be a
limited window for the rename to happen in a way that preserves history and
we do not yet know exactly when this will be. I will reply this email when
we have a better sense of the schedule, but if making patches between now
and that time note that there could be a more manual merge involved.
