[mylar-dev] Re: [Bug 146382] Forced integration with team providers

Mik,

We need to put together recommendations for 3rd parties who are integrating with Mylar. One important thing when declaring dependencies on update site is to use features and not individual plugins.

That may also mean that we do need to extract team integration into a separate feature, and in a long term may have to move CVS support into a separate plugin...

 regards,
 Eugene

My response to Michael's points happened a couple of weeks ago on the mylar-dev
list: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/mylar-dev/msg00914.html

This resulted in our implementing a change set provider mechanism independent
of ActiveChangeSet, largely in-line with the suggestions on this report, as
described here: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/mylar-dev/msg00923.html

I've also added some docs to:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylar_Integrator_Reference#Integrating_Team_Providers
