This has been fixed for 0.4.1, and works
as you describe. Also, the task list context menu has been considerably
improved to be more context sensitive, so below is the longest it gets now, and
usually it’s shorter (e.g. when a category is selected). As a
result I think it’s best not to add a submenu for the “Add”
items for now. More documentation on this will be in the New & Noteworthy.

Hmm. It only work
if you select a group row, but I would expect that task would be added to the
same group where currently selected task belong to.
