I will be making another change to the Eclipse Marketplace REST API very soon. I am going to add a news property to the Catalog call (http://marketplace.eclipse.org/catalogs/api/p) to help fix Bug #401907 https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=401907.
