[mosquitto-dev] Dedicated user for Mosquitto

Hi,

I installed the latest Mosquitto message broker (as root user) on my Linux (Debian and Raspbian) box. Everything works fine. I have a question: is it advisable to create a dedicated user e.g. ‘mosquitto’ as the user where all messages should be send too (published) and which all subscribers should use?  I haven’t looked that far into Mosquitto: but is it possible to have restrictions on topic-level?
