There is no "website" project under modeling. There is, however, a
"modeling.emf.website" UNIX group. There seems to be a mix of groups
in the Modeling project's web directories. Some owned by
"modeling.emf.website" and some by "modeling". I believe that
webmaster needs to work some magic to make sure that people get put
into the "website" group.
This election is concerned on the Modeling top-level project; as PL
for that project, you should be able to retire those committers.
I'd like to spend some time trying to figure out how we can make
this better. I'm confused, for example, that the /modeling/emf/cdo
directory isn't owned by the modeling.emf.cdo UNIX group. Also, it
seems that more and more modeling projects are opting to use the
"flat" directory structure that we adopted some number of years ago
(e.g. /Xtext), or use the data-driven pages as their website, which
I believe reduces the need for a "website" group (i.e. each project
maintains their own website).
I'm thinking... is there some change we can make in the new project
management infrastructure that will help get modeling project
committers out of the business of maintaining website metadata in
CVS/Git?

Hi,
I'm a little frustrated with this issue of permissions for the
website "project". It seems the project isn't even listed in the
portal, so I can't use the portal to decommitterize inactive
committers. In this case I'd like to remove Nick and Anthony from
the committer list because we can't have successful timely
elections without their participation. If the website is to be
treated as a project requiring elections then it should be treated
as a project in the portal, right?
