thats a good question. because I'm not the initial developer, i don't know the
answer. sry.

I'll refactor the jdom stuff to emf xml asap, but could you approve the jdom
dependency, so that i can checkin the current code initially? if i removed the
jdom dependency, we coud remove the cq also.
