Re: [modeling-pmc] Re: [eclipse.org-members-committers] Declaration for the Graphiti project

The proposal can be changed. Once there is consensus, let me know and we'll update it.

I think that maybe we (EMO) got our wires a bit crossed on this one and may have posted too early. This is my fault. Since we've already notified the community, I recommend that we leave the proposal live while we make the changes.

Hi,

As I recall there was a discussion in this list that this project fits nicely as another GMF runtime (and not another "graphical modeling" project). I didn't notice any change in the proposal to reflect that, and didn't see any discussion why it's not feasible/reasonable. Did I miss anything?

    *Declaration for the Graphiti Project*
The Graphiti project (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/graphiti)
is a proposed open source project under the Eclipse Modeling
Project (EMP) Top-Level Project. Graphiti will provide an
Eclipse-based graphics framework to enable easy development of
state-of-the-art diagram editors for domain models.
We solicit additional participation and input from the Eclipse
community. Please send all feedback to the Eclipse Modeling
