Re: [mobile-iwg] Pulsar package

Hi all,

1) Yes, until the present moment, we only have Nokia SDKs. Motorola is working to get its SDKs done, and both Eric and Ronnie already asked that any vendors interested should manifest and send us their URLs. Also David Dubrow has already sent instructions of how to generate metadata for the SDK discovery.

2) About the "start client" and "start server" buttons, you are correct. They shouldn't be there, and we are working right now to remove them (we've already opened a bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=314339). Since one of them causes Eclipse hang problem, it is enough to enter as a fix in the next Release Candidate.

Tks,
 Marcel

That’s what I see as well, the client/server options were not in the previous Pulsar builds so could they be a TML feature?

On the SDK’s we have not received any confirmation from any of the previous vendors. I’m pretty sure we can get answers for eRCP, Motorola, and probably SEMC, but not sure about Ericsson.

Regards,

Ronnie

Subject: [mobile-iwg] Pulsar package

I downloaded the Pulsar RC1 package.  The only SDK available were those from Nokia.  Is this correct?  There were also two buttons in the tool bar labeled 'start client' and 'start server'.  If I select the 'start client' button Eclipse hangs.  Does anyone know what these buttons are for?

Thanks
Ian
